Splash for Success volunteers and families

Our story

Fighting Poverty, One Kid at a Time

My name is Bianca, and I started this mission because I want to make a direct difference in the lives of children from families experiencing financial hardship. My goal is to help provide children with basic necessities, essential resources, and the support they need to feel cared for and have the opportunity to succeed.

Our mission

To empower underserved children and families in Florida by providing access to nutritious food, quality education, and essential resources that create lasting change.

Our vision

A Florida where every child has the foundation they need to succeed — regardless of zip code or circumstance.

How we started

Born from a Community's Need

Splash for Success was founded in 2016 by a group of South Florida neighbors who saw firsthand the devastating impact of childhood poverty in their own community. What began as a weekend food drive quickly grew into a full-service nonprofit serving over 1,200 families annually.

Over eight years, we have expanded our reach across multiple Florida counties, building partnerships with local schools, churches, and businesses to create a safety net that catches families before they fall through the cracks.

Today, our team of dedicated staff and 300+ volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that no child in our community goes to bed hungry, falls behind in school, or lacks the basic necessities every child deserves.
